Emergence of A New Generation

God recently laid it on my heart that He doesn't use one person twice. This practically mean that, for every person on earth, there is ONLY ONE ASSIGNMENT ON EARTH. Every other thing that person does is counted as one and part of that original assignment. This means that if there is a new move of God coming, it has to be with a new set of people. Lets see:

Acts 13:36
For David, after he had served his own generation by the will of God, fell on sleep, and was laid unto his fathers, and saw corruption:

Read also Genesis 15:13-14
13: And he said unto Abram, Know of a surety that thy seed shall be a stranger in a land that is not theirs, and shall serve them; and they shall afflict them four hundred years;
14: And also that nation, whom they shall serve, will I judge: and afterward shall they come out with great substance.

Look closely, verse 13 is the Joseph's generation. verse 14 is the Moses' generation.

Now it is Joseph who led the Israelites into bondage in Egypt, right? He fulfilled verse 13 and Moses too led the Israelites out of bondage right? He fulfilled verse 14 right.

Let me not bore you with lots of explanation, but the point is this, whenever God calls a person, He has only one assignment for that person. ONLY ONE. Not two, not three, not four. Anything a person God is using does, will always be linked to just that one purpose, so He says I dont use people twice. For example, He doesn't start a move or revival with one person, finish and give another assignment. No! Every other assigment is connected to only the one purpose He called a person for.

Joseph took Israel to Egypt (assignment finished), Moses took Israel out of Egypt (assignment finished), Joshua continued to promise Land (assignment finished), judges took over. Fast track forward. David made King over Israel, now David wanted to step into another move of God. God says NO! You are not to build a temple for me, your son will. JESUS! Came to die for our Sins(It is finished), Holy Spirit took over...There is a very interesting Scripture that will illustrate what I am saying. Read Genesis 26:2 "And the LORD appeared unto him[Isaac], and said, Go not down into Egypt...]. Do you see what will have happened if Isaac went to Egypt? Probably Jacob and Esau will be born in Egypt, their descendants will settle and Joseph will not have the opportunity to accomplish his assignment in Genesis 15:13. Hope you have gotten it.

Listen if you hear there is a move of God, it belongs to a new generation...Prepare yourself. Lets come down home. I will choose two men of God. Dr Otabil and Rev. Eastwood Anaba.

ICGC our mission is "...influencing society through Christ" Listen well, ICGC was a new move of God, Central Universitty College is NOT A NEW MOVE OF GOD. It is part of the single agenda of influencing Society through Christ.

Rev Eastwood's Love Revolution is NOT A NEW MOVE OF GOD. The man has been a revivalist since he was called. The love revolution is just a part of his revivalist missiom.

I repeat, the new move or revival about to hit this Land is for a new generation. STEP IN AND BE PART

PRAYER: FINDING OUR WAY BACK TO GOD.

I am currently working on my second book "PRAYER: FINDING OUR WAY BACK TO GOD."

I will gladly receive your input on what prayer means to you.

To me prayer is simply communication between man and God. It is the means by which we request the assistance of God in our day to day life.

Note that prayer is not a resignation from human responsibility; prayer is actually an active involvement in life and being responsible as humans. We watch and pray, in other words, whilst praying, we are still alert!
  • They which builded on the wall, and they that bare burdens, with those that laded, every one with one of his hands wrought in the work, and with the other hand held a weapon (Nehemiah 4:17)
Many of us have replaced what we need to do as humans with prayer, but it does not work that way. Prayer is just pleading God assistance and help for us to be able to do what we have to do as humans. Prayer is like having a spouse...everyone does their part of their responsibility. If one spouse, decide to neglect their responsibility, things get unbalanced. In prayer God does His part, we do ours.

When David returned from war, his camp has been ransacked by the enemy. See what he did.

  • And David enquired at the LORD, saying, Shall I pursue after this troop? shall I overtake them? And he answered him , Pursue: for thou shalt surely overtake them, and without fail recover all.
  • So David went  (1 Samuel 30:8-9a)
Do you see the two responsibilities (God answered him, Pursue....David went(pursued). When you get a direction or insight from God, take action...work on it. Dont pray for more insight, your first step will open the other 'doors' of insight.

Bless you. I will be looking out for your insights on prayer.

LEADERSHIP MEANS CHANGE

CHANGE!

The first effect of leadership is CHANGE and everyone that aspires leadership should first and foremost CHANGE themselves.

"You must be born again(Change)"- Jesus Christ

"...no man putteth new wine into old bottles: else the new wine doth burst the bottles, and the wine is spilled, and the bottles will be marred: but new wine must be put into new bottles."- Jesus Christ

"To move the world we must first move ourselves" -Socrates

"We must be the change we wish to see in the world."- Ghandi

"At long last the battle is ended. And thus Ghana, your beloved country is free forever…We must change our attitudes and our minds. We must realise that from now on, we are no more a colonial but a free and independent people….help me reshape the destiny of this country" Kwame Nkrumah

Desiring to "change" the world without first changing ourselves is a non-starter. It will be hypocrisy to attempt to influence your world, when you have not 'put your house in order'. 1 am not proposing perfection, but I am asking for a basic principle of first removing the TIMBER in our eyes before attempting to remove the STICK in your brothers eyes.

This week, sit back look at your life and make the necessary changes and adjustments that needs to be made.

"An unexamined life is not worth living" -Socrates

Lets start the change process with ourselves. Myself and Theo actually carry a personal prophecy for our lives and  will want to share with you to encourage open yourself up for change. He said:

"As the word change spreads across the world, so am I bringing change into the lives of my people, so they will be relevant and able handle the change that is occuring in the world."

We dont know what burns in your heart, but for us, we want to live to our full potential. So we have have opened ourselves up for change. Are you ready? YOU NEED TO FIRST CHANGE.
